Inverted Silence

Hey! My name is Midas Klare, but you might know me as Inverted Silence.
I’m a producer/game composer from the Netherlands.

I make VGM as well as music for release by artists. I have a big background in EDM and KPOP - as well as a huge love for games; so I hope put forth a refreshing approach to music by combining the skillsets from these different disciplines.

My work is inspired by the Japanese “Dōjin scene”, film & game soundtracks, jazz, and the likes of Haywyre, Nitepunk, Louis Cole.

Outside of my musical endeavours I’m also known for my programming project together with Dylan Tallchief: the Live Enhancement Suite, a free workflow tool for Ableton Live which has garnered thousands of downloads since the day of its release, helping musicians from all over the world be more productive.

During my childhood I grew up in a very musically positive household. Both of my parents are artists who encouraged me to experiment with electronics at a very young age. Because of this, I’ve always been interested in computers and art. In a sense, it’s not very surprising that I’d grow up to become a massive musical nerd.
